Dhaka FM embarked on its journey in 2009, driven by the vision to provide exceptional entertainment services. The inaugural launch on Pohela Boishakh of the same year marked the introduction of the first live Internet Radio by Dhaka FM. Setting up a complete studio with talented RJs, they pioneered the concept of running a radio station on the internet, broadcasting 20 hours of live programs to engage audiences worldwide. Unlike traditional FM stations limited by geographical boundaries, Dhaka FM’s internet radio platform allowed for innovative programs catering to a diverse global audience. This success led Dhaka FM to expand into FM radio broadcasting, becoming the first recipient of a private FM radio station license in the second phase of awards by the Government in December 2010. Thus, the vibrant journey of Dhaka FM began, driven by a commitment to quality entertainment and a passion for reaching audiences far and wide.
